Abstract :
This paper presents the first non-spherical three-degree-of-freedom motor and its forward kinematic analysis. The motor is capable of three degrees of freedom. The design concept and the operational principle of the motor are demonstrated, The detailed forward kinematic analysis of the motor with gimbals support is presented. Its kinematic model is established, and the kinematic equation is derived.
