            Abstract : 
Quantum dots provide an opportunity to achieve ultralow threshold current (210 μA, 9.5 μm × 9.5 μm oxide aperture) all-semiconductor DBR GaAs VCSELs operating single mode in the 1.3 μm wavelength range.
