Abstract :
We have experimentally demonstrated, for the first time, a FWM-based wavelength conversion that does not invert the spectral order of consecutive wavelength channels. We utilize this important outcome to successfully implement wavelength conversion of the optical labeled packets generated by the OCSS technique and maintain the spectral order of the converted label and payload.
