  • Abstract
    We performed a 73-days PMD measurement in an installed G.652 fibre infrastructure, in a metropolitan network. We found that, despite a very stable behaviour of the plant, some statistical anomalies may occur, and that maintenance operations may ultimately be the key factor for PMD variations.
