Abstract :
We present a 22 mW-16nm tunable DBR-SOA, robust and simple to control. Less than 12 ns tuning speed is obtained by electrical pattern optimisation, and 10 Gb/s reconfigurable wavelength conversion compatible with packet switching is demonstrated.
