Abstract :
This paper designs a robust AQM controller for IP routers based on the robust mu-analysis technique. Specifically, by modeling the uncertainties of the TCP/AQM system in terms of the uncertainty weight, we synthesize the controller by approximating the mu-optimal control problem with the Hinfin S/T/U mixed sensitivity problem (MSP). We also analyze the NP (nominal performance), the RS (robust stability) and the RP (robust performance) of the system under the synthesized controller using the mu-analysis technique. Extensive simulations are performed on the OPNET platform to verify the effectiveness of the designed controller
