Abstract
To improve the performance of voice over mobile IP (VoMIP) on WLAN, a novel scheme is designed in this paper. We analyze the advantages and disadvantages of the existing handoff schemes. Based on the analyses, our proposed design reduces the delay and decreases the occupied bandwidth for VoMIP applications during the handoff. The results show that our scheme outperforms the existing ones
