Abstract :
It is our last evening in the student flat before summer kicks off; our bags are packed, ready for grateful parents to pick us up tomorrow for McDonald´s shifts (me)/holiday in Barbados for those with money in the family (Ern). We have opened the beers, the pizza boxes are strewn across the floor, Eric´s girlfriend Lara is packing his stuff in her Mini, etc etc etc.
