Abstract
The electronics for amplifying, shaping, sampling, pipelining, and digitising the signals from the liquid argon calorimeters of the ATLAS experiment at the Large Hadron Collider (LHC) is contained on the on-detector mounted front end boards (FEBs). We discuss the design and production of the FEBs and present measurement results from highly accelerated stress screening (HASS), as well as from further testing of the digital and analog components on the FEBs performed at several stages during the production and installation process. Component and assembly failures are found and repaired in time with the production and ongoing installation
