Abstract :
The single chamber tests of the 240 monitored drift tube (MDT) chambers for almost 90,000 channels, built in the U.S. for the endcap sector of the ATLAS muon spectrometer have been completed. For the first time the results are being presented and show the perfect compliance with ATLAS specifications and a high level of uniformity.
