Abstract
The paper presents MIM : a technology mapping algorithm that is independent of the FPGA logic module structure. It can handle large libraries with complex functions and is based on the concept of function-affinity. High mapping quality and very short run time make it a powerful tool for the design and evaluation of antifuse based FPGA architectures. Experimental results for 4 logic modules show that MIM needs up to 19%-23% fewer logic modules than MISII and is on the average >300 times faster.
