Abstract :
We present novel optical circuits consisting of low-loss photonic crystal butt-jointable to/from fibers (Fiber-to-fiber loss of 4.6 dB over a waveguide 3 mm long). To show its versatility, we demonstrate an in-line resonator with Q = 270
