Abstract :
A 3dB insertion loss 16 16 channel arrayed-waveguide grating (AWG) multi/demultiplexer has been realized based on low absorption loss (<0.001dB/cm) perfluorinated polymers. A temperature dependence of -0.5pm/C was achieved by a novel superstrate tuning technique.
