Abstract :
Perfomance monitorng and realtime compensation of ultra low power 10 Gb/s signals at 1.5 μm is investigated using two-photon absorption in a photon-counting silicon avalanche photodiode. We analyze distortions from dispersion, PMD, and OSNR.
