Abstract :
This paper deals with the sifgnal source phase noise limitation encncountered when testing the recent high speed, high resolution A/D converters. We propose a post-processing method to cimpensate for this hardawre limitation effectively. This method is based on spectral avdraging, median filtering and spectral subtraction. Experimental ATE data are provided to demonstrate its effectivness in single tone as in dual tone mode.
