Abstract :
In this work, modified λ/2 microstrip band-pass filters without the 2nd harmonic were proposed and demonstrated in detail. Multiple attenuation poles are used to suppress the 2nd harmonic. Besides, the first attenuation pole of upper stopband can be shifted closer to the passband. The experimental results of filters with a fractional bandwidth of about 8% are nice as we expect.
