Abstract :
In this paper, lumped-element realization of an impedance-transforming two-branch co-directional coupler is discussed. A lumped-element coupler derived from a branch-line coupler with one-quarter and three-quarters wavelength transmission-lines can be classified into five categories. Simple lumped-element couplers are newly presented.
