Abstract :
In this paper, a new highly efficient algorithm based on infinite element-partial basic solution vectors domain decomposition method (IEM-PBSV-DDM) is presented for solving electromagnetic scattering problems of electrically large cylinders and finite array cylinders. Instead of using ordinary absorbing boundary condition (ABC) and artificial absorber, IEM-PBSV-DDM truncates the computational domain by infinite element, which not only increases computational efficiency greatly, but also improves the accuracy of the far field significantly.
