Abstract :
The natural frequencies (poles) of a scattering object is one of the basic characteristics used to target recognition. Usually, an iterative method is used to find the solutions of the matrix equation coming from the MoM (Method of Moments). However, the method is very time-consuming. Whereas MBPE gives excellent results over a wide frequency band, and is much more efficient than the conventional point-by-point approach, in this paper the system function is constructed by using the MBPE twice. Finally, the poles of the scattering system are analyzed.
