Abstract
This paper studies the effect of angle sensitivity to array perturbations in direction-of-arrival (DOA) estimation. Array perturbations due to directive elements, random position error and mutual coupling are considered. Simulation results show that the sensitivity to array perturbation has a special relationship with the direction-of-arrival which may be applied in practical applications if properly used.
