Abstract :
Large profile, high price, low efficiency in realization prevent phased array be broadly used in commercial systems, though it has high performance. The article puts forward a new kind of shifterless phased array based on coupled oscillators. The article also studies the dynamic of nearest-neighbor coupled oscillators. According to the need of beam-scanning the article will establish the existence of the solutions by substituting the desired solutions into the dynamical equations. From that, we determine how the accessible parameters should be adjusted to realize transmitting beam-scanning system. The beam-scanning system based on coupled oscillators with receiving function is designed in the article. Then a complete shifterless phased array scheme suitable for commercial system is given out.
