Abstract :
A modified 2D direct data domain (D3) algorithm is proposed in this paper, and proved to be superior to the original one by using the average of all voltage vectors of sub-arrays multiplied by the corresponding coefficient to recover the desired signal. This average process of voltage vectors is mathematically simple and can be done in parallel to the weight generation before doing the inner product to form the output. Simulation results demonstrate that the output signal to interference plus noise ratio (SINR) is improved. Moreover, the deduction shows that the modified process is no use to improve the performance in 1D scenario due to the inherent constraint in 1D D3 algorithm.
