Abstract :
One modified method of defining fitness function is presented in this paper. The algorithm adopts the binary encoding, which is easy to operate. Higher efficiency of searching could be achieved by setting undetermined parameter of fitness function. One shaped-beam array antenna is designed using genetic algorithms, the optimized result is better than Woodward.
