Abstract :
In this paper, we consider the characters of the channels under the beams space. And a propagation prediction model in beam-space is introduced in typical micro-cells using the ray-tracing algorithm. Moreover, the comparison to the aspects of loss path (LP) and angular spread (AS) in the environments using the traditional omni-directive antenna, is done, which shows that such features of the channels under the beam space in line of sight (LOS) environments and non line of sight (NLOS) environments should be newly defined.
