Abstract
This paper investigates the fabrication of functional microwave components using the selective laser sintering process to sinter conventional screen printing inks. This technique has the potential to metallize low-temperature substrates by controlling the laser parameters. The quality of the metallization is examined both at DC as well as microwave frequencies. DC resistance of conductors is measured, followed by measurements of the Q of microstrip resonators on both quartz and soda-lime glass
