Abstract
In this paper, we propose a low temperature co-fired ceramic (LTCC) U-shape λg/2 resonator. The advantages of multilayered LTCC technology such as high integration are employed to design this three dimensional resonator. The circuit is modeled and optimized by 3-D electromagnetic simulations and presents good experimental results. Compared to planar resonator, the U-shape resonator presents smaller size and comparable losses. Then, a three pole bandpass filter is presented with 2,6 % -3 dB bandwith centered at 38 GHz.
