Abstract :
An optical fiber assembly consisted of a laser diode, optical fibers, optical modulator and photo detector is applied to obtain sufficient extremely high isolation between the channels in microwave dual channel measurement systems. Basic properties of the assembly are investigated and high accuracy measurement capabilities of the experimental setup of microwave attenuation measurement system using the assembly are shown.
