  • Abstract
The current work focuses on the electronic collaboration among companies for the efficient execution of the shiprepair supply chain. The shiprepair supply chain is a dynamic environment that consists of collaborating companies, each one is specialized in a certain set of manufacturing activities. All these activities are interrelated and that are extremely complex to manage since the highest portion of the work is discovered during the actual repair work leaving very limited time to react and take decisions. In addition, the time to perform the repair of the ship is also constrained, since ships out of operation cause the loss of significant profits from the maritime companies. This work describes a web based software framework that enables the electronic collaboration among the companies that are working jointly for the repair of a ship
