John Scott will present the perspective and the challenges seen by the regulator. Are ageing assets necessarily a problem; what does the regulator look for when considering the case for asset renewal funding; will a big cheque solve the problems? What might be the barriers to achieving efficient investment that will bring benefits to customers and what is Ofgem´s approach to asset management in the companies it regulates? Will the sector bring forward a vision for innovative solutions to the challenges ahead?
