Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a method based on the modification of the channel noise variance at the equaliser input in order to improve the performance of a turbo-equaliser. We show a relation between the modified channel noise variance and the a priori information statistics. The simulation are done for 2 types of turbo-equalisers
