    Multiple-valued current mode logic has been a powerful alternative for realizing arithmetic operations. Unfortunately implementation of all logical circuits in this way is not advantageous in term of speed. In this paper we have used a mixed voltage-current mode to obtain the highest possible speed, for realizing a 4-2 compressor
