Abstract :
This paper proposes the symmetric form of alpha-cut: inverse alpha-cut, and then alpha-induced fuzzy set and examine their properties. Further, it introduces interval cut, interval induced fuzzy set and examines their properties. The proposed approach will facilitate research of fuzzy set theory and fuzzy systems
