Abstract :
Using the method of Green function, we have found expressions of the four-vector potential for a point charge moving along the arbitrary path in perfectly conducting cylindrical drift tube. The results obtained provide the basis for solution of rigorous self-consistent non-stationary problems on the propagation of relativistic electron beams in external electromagnetic field by particle-in-cell method
