Abstract :
In the previous years, service oriented architecture and its most famous implementation known as Web service are more and more popular and adopted by many distributed computing systems. The spatial information processing applications are eager for SOA based on-demand computation framework with high performance and low overhead. In this paper, the architecture of SOA based on-demand computation framework is proposed first. Then, the framework was filled by Java byte code, BeanShell script language, Groovy script language and OSWorkflow workflow description language as a sample. Furthermore, it is designed and implemented based on Java and Tomcat/Axis. At last, the test shows that the SOA based on-demand computation framework is more flexible and powerful without heavy overhead
