Abstract :
A novel digital image watermarking scheme is proposed, which is based on Walsh spread spectrum for watermark embedding in DWT domain. Our main contributions are below: 1) texture regions have been chosen to embed the watermark information and a simple texture region detection method is presented; 2) the auxiliary information is introduced to locate the watermark region during extracting process, which has been embedded into the image texture region together with the watermark; 3) all information will be spread spectrum to improve robustness of the watermark scheme before they are embedded. Very promised results show this method has strongly robust to some signal attacks, especially, the geometric attacks
