Abstract :
In this paper, we propose a method to design equiripple FIR interpolation filter. The proposed method is based on weighted least squares technique. The weighted least squares solution will be equiripple by updating frequency response weighting function to get a suitable weighting function. Furthermore, via extensive computational study of the relationships among filter parameters for equiripple interpolation filter, we expose an accurate empirical formula for the required filter length
