Abstract :
Chaos theory has been widely used in stochastic signal generator in recent years and the chaos sequence quantification algorithm has great influence on the performance of a generator. In this paper, an improved stochastic multi-bits quantification algorithm based on Chebyshev map was proposed to extend the period and improve the performance of generated sequence under precision restricted condition. The balance and correlation property of the generated sequence were analyzed. The sequence was proved to be a binary Bernoulli stochastic sequence and the distribution of the differences between the amounts of 0 and 1 was analyzed. The side lobes of auto and cross correlation were proved to obey normal distribution (0, 1/N). The simulation results indicate that the algorithm has excellent balance and correlation property
