Abstract
In this paper, we present a separation method of micro-Doppler signal based on the Hough transform which is widely used in the image processing. Mechanical vibration or rotation of structures in a target may induce frequency modulation on returned signals and generate side-bands about the center frequency of the target´s body, which is know as the micro-Doppler phenomenon. Then the body image will be contaminated due to the interference from the rotating parts. Using an extended Hough transform, the spectrums of the rotating parts of the target can be eliminated from the spectrogram of the target. A computer simulation is given to illustrate the effectiveness of the proposed method
