Abstract :
A blocking artifacts reduction algorithm by enhancing image contrast in DCT domain is proposed. In order to save more computations, only two DCT coefficients are used to represent the edge information of the shifted block, and then construct an adaptive enhancement factor. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm outperforms the traditional algorithms
