Abstract :
A new wideband signal direction of arrival estimation algorithm based perturbation method is proposed in the presence of the nonideal arbitrary sensors array and the mutual coupling between array elements. In this algorithm, the perturbation method of focusing matrix is derived in the condition of the errors of the actual element positions, gains and phases, and mutual coupling, then, the process of singular value decomposition is replaced by the perturbation method. Finally, the direction of arrival of the wideband signals is estimated by sum of focusing matrices and narrow estimation method. The computer simulation results illustrated performances of the new algorithm
