Abstract :
Coded OFDM (orthogonal frequency diversion multiplexing) with a MIMO (multiple-input multiple-output) configuration is a popular method for high data wireless transmission. SFTC (space-frequency trellis codes) coded MIMO-OFDM makes the system more robust to the various types of interference. In this paper, MIMO-OFDM with SFTC in narrowband interference (NBI) environment is considered. It is shown that a simple antenna selection scheme can be proposed to NBI mitigation, at high signal-to-noise-ratio (SNR). The effect of the NBI and the performance improvement of the scheme is also examined through analysis and simulations
