Abstract :
A new calculation method for mutual impedance matrix is proposed. The mutual impedance matrix is derived from electromagnetic boundary conditions and can be used to relate the coupling free open-circuit voltages instead of the conventional one to the measured voltages. Its application to DOA estimation shows that the mutual impedance matrix obtained by our proposed method quantifies the mutual coupling effects more precisely than the conventional one
