Abstract :
Software defined radio (SDR) has emerged as a priority theme of research since it will substitute for conventional implementation on wireless communication system. In this paper, one digital up-converter (DUC) system module for WCDMA base station based on SDR is constructed, optimum filters used in the system are analyzed, designed and simulated, the simulation results indicate that the filters designed are with appropriate frequency properties and lower steps which can help reduce computation complexity and storage space, simplify the design of the filters, decrease the errors from the effective length of words, therefore make the develop on 3G base station more economical and effective
