Abstract :
Estimation of the carrier frequency of unconventional BPSK signal in white Gaussian noise is discussed. Unconventional BPSK signals use two phases that may not be 0 or pi (may be -1 radian and +1 radian) to distinguish two different codes. A method is proposed to recover carrier of unconventional BPSK signal. Then an approach to estimate frequency of the carrier based on the phase of the discrete Fourier transform (DFT) is applied. Simulations are performed and the results present the good performance of the algorithm
