Abstract :
The subject investigated in this paper is oil-water two-phase flow, image data capture and calibration method for 8 electrodes electrical capacitance tomography system. Oil/water two-phase flow is discussed, an alternating current circuit measuring small capacitance and a control circuit of data capture and small capacitance measurement calibration method are designed. The advantages of the system are as follows: high measuring speed, high-resolution ratio, and little measurement error. Especially it can remove the effects of the stray capacitance in theory. The results of the experiment discussed in this paper indicates that the time of the image data capture is less than 0.1S, its accuracy is 0.3%, and its resolution ratio is 0.05%; the reconstructed section image, which is on the basis of image data captured by the system discussed in this paper, in accordance with the facts, thus the accuracy of the split phase obtained is 1%
