Abstract :
Satellite flying formation missions are being prepared by more and more aerospace centers for the potentials they have. They also bring challenges like clock synchronization. This paper introduces a dedicated hardware device, General Cell (GC), which is a general micro-platform of spacecraft C&DH system, fully fits to formation flying space circumstance, and aims at relative attitude location and time synchronization among satellites. With support of it, this paper implements time calibration with a two-stage solution, and recurs to linear Kalman filter to filter out variations of message delays further. GC is equipped with only ordinary frequency stability crystal oscillator, and experiment shows it achieves time precision less than plusmn20 mus
