Abstract :
The considerable effect of titanium dioxide (TiO2) nanoparticles and UV irradiation on the biomolecular binding behavior of anticancer drug doxorubicin has been studied by using electrochemical methods. Our observations demonstrate that the combination of nano TiO2 and UV irradiation could facilitate the respective DNA binding affinity of anticancer agent and significantly enhance the detection sensitivity for the relative biomolecular recognition process.
