  • Abstract
Space Division Multiple Access (SDMA) is a technology that permits the increase of capacity and performance of communications systems. In this paper, the main characteristics, advantages, disadvantages and the effects of the use of SDMA on a communication system are showed. Additionally an overview of smart antenna technology is given.
