Abstract
A new stability preserving method for model reduction of large linear time invariant circuits is proposed. The reduction technique is based on frequency balancing within an operational or desired bandwidth of a system. This method is of interest for practical model reduction of large circuits because in this context it is important to keep the accuracy of the approximation as high as possible without sacrificing the computational efficiency and the stability of the circuits. Numerical results show the accuracy and the efficiency enhancement of the method.
