  • Abstract
An ad hoc network is the cooperative engagement of a collection of small mobile nodes which have limited resources and may have to work well in the very bad environments. In this paper, we proposed a more reliable and stable ad hoc routing method for the nonideal sensor environment which is sea level. Here, moving sensors are not considered fixed on off-shore structures and affected by the sea waves. Therefore, it is more difficult to deliver packets to the destination safely. With the existing routing protocols, we can not make the sea ad hoc networks work very well. So, we have to make some modifications and combination on existing routing protocols to meet our requirements. Moreover, we are able to save much more resources involving sensors´ energy and network bandwidth and eliminate much more unnecessary operations on sensors. So, the way to decide which sensor shall take the responsibility of job of sending packets is a critical mechanism for ad hoc networks.
